Welcome to the heart of cheese in the Swedish county of Vasterbotten! This is where Ms Eleonora Lindstrom created her first Vasterbotten cheese in the beginning of the 1870s. The production process involved when making the cheese has since been a well kept secret, only being handed down amongst the cheese makers of the Burtrask dairy itself.
